Fishers Health Department

A mission to serve the health of every Fishers resident.

In order to truly understand COVID-19’s effect on our community, a municipal-level awareness of positive cases is required, as well as a commensurate response by City government to conduct contact tracing to inform and educate the community. Indiana law affords a second-class city, such as the City of Fishers, the authority to establish a full-time city health department.

The Fishers Health Department is charged with implementing the COVID-19 community testing proposed as part of the Fishers Recovery Plan while ensuring the health safety of our city that a traditional health department provides.
